Compliance Policy

Since March 2020, the companies URUFOR S.A., COFUSA and the other affiliates in the forestry sector have actively commited and approved to be subject to international regulations of the United States and England that are more demanding than the Uruguayan ones for the prevention of money laundering and anti-corruption.

A Code of Ethics and Good Practices was drawn up that provides the framework for the strategy in this regard, and defines the guiding principles and the specific procedures and manuals in each area.

In March 2023, the procedures adopted were reviewed and few adjustments were made, seeing that the results obtained to date have been satisfactory.
